Q:            Do you meet arriving passengers in the terminal?

A.            YES – we operate an inclusive  “Meet and Greet” service unless otherwise requested. Your driver will be waiting for you, holding a name board, when you exit customs [or domestic arrivals]. If we hold a mobile number for you, we will attempt to text you before your arrival when we will confirm the driver’s name, and mobile ‘phone number to you. Otherwise as soon as possible after leaving the aircraft you may wish to phone our Controller on 01279 680 888, or SMS us on +44 (0)795 556 0600, when we will confirm your vehicle details

Q.            What happens if your office is closed?

A.            Our offices are staffed from 06:00am to 12:00 midnight. At all other times calls to our main number will be automatically transferred to the duty controller. For all early morning arrivals you will have been pre-advised in advance by text or email of the driver’s contact details.

Q.            What happens in the event that my flight is delayed or diverted?

A.             We constantly monitor all flight arrivals, and in the instance of a delay to your arrival your driver will be waiting for

Q.            How long will the driver wait for us to clear customs at the Airport?

A.            Our rates include one hour waiting from the time of landing of the aircraft. [not from the scheduled arrival time]. This should be sufficient for you to clear immigration and customs control, however if you are delayed we ask that you phone us. Please be assured that the driver will not leave the airport until all enquiries as to your whereabouts have been exhausted.

Q.            What happens when I am arriving on a Cruise Ship?

A.            Normally you will have been pre-allocated a disembarkation time. The driver will send you a text message to confirm he is at the Port, and will be waiting for you in the arrivals area holding a name-board.

Q.            How do I pay?

A.            We offer Credit Accounts to approved corporate and institutional clients, otherwise we ask that you pay the driver in cash [£, US$ or €]. We also accept payment by all major credit cards [subject to a processing fee of 2.5% on VISA or MasterCard, or 4.5% on American Express card] or by a £ stg cheque drawn on a United Kingdom or Channel Island bank supported by a Bank Guarantee Card.

Q.            Is it necessary for me to pay a reservation deposit?

A.            Where a client does not hold an approved credit account with us, we may request the client to guarantee their reservation by credit card. We DO NOT take prior payment for any booking without the written agreement or instruction of the booking party.

Q.            Are you able to handle large amounts of luggage?

A.            YES - we ask that when you make your booking you specify how much luggage you expect to have. We will need to upgrade your vehicle and you should expect to pay more.

Q.            Are you in contact with the driver at all times?

A.             YES – all of our drivers have PDA’s or Mobile Phones through which messages and instructions are passed.

Q.            Do you only undertake airport transfers?

A.            Airport transfers from and to the five London Airports [Heathrow, Stansted, Gatwick, London City, and Luton] represents a minority part of our overall business. We offer a comprehensive executive, business, and tourism transfer service, as well as providing executive transport for sporting events, theatre and dinner visits, guided tours and sightseeing throughout the United Kingdom and into Europe.

Q.            Are you able to tell me how long  my journey will take?

A.            We will give you an estimate of journey time when we confirm your booking. Transit times in the United Kingdom vary considerably depending on the time of day, and traffic conditions.

Q.            Do your rates include gratuities?

A.             No, our rates are exclusive of any gratuities. Any gratuity offered to your driver is solely at the discretion of the client.

Q.            Are you fully insured?

A.             YES, we have comprehensive vehicle insurance, together with passenger and public liability insurance.

Q.            Are you licensed by any official body?

A.            YES, we are licensed as Private Hire Operators by the Uttlesford District Council (the authority responsible for London Stansted Airport) We also operate vehicles licensed by the Public carriage Office in London. All of our drivers are similarly licensed by the same Authorities and carry identification badges issued by the Authority.
